# 1º Convert fiat into USDC

You can convert your fiat currency into USDC using either MetaMask or Binance, and you'll find step-by-step guides for both options here. However, we recommend using Binance for better conversion rates.

Regardless of which method you choose, you'll need to have a MetaMask wallet set up.
